Sugar Processing Enzymes
Dex-NR
Fungal Dextranase for sugar Cane Industry
Introduction
In sugar production, dextran are undesirable compounds synthesized by contaminant microorganism from sucrose, increasing the viscosity of the flow and reducing industrial recovery, bringing about significant losses.
The Dex-NR enzymatic preparation has been effectively using for hydrolysing dextran in sugar mill juices.
Effect of Dextran in Sugar production:
Summary of the detrimental effects of dextran in terms of the resulting losses:
- Production losses
- Significant increase in viscosity
- Lower evaporation rates
- Longer wash and separation cycle in centrifuge and losses of molasses
Description
Dex-NR is an endo-dextranase enzymes belonging to family glucosyl transferases obtained from selected stain of microorganism.
Benefits of Dex NR
Application of Dex NR in sugar production brings following benefits:
- Promotes hydrolysis of dextran there by reducing viscosity resulting improves refined product.
- Act upon a sugar can juice with wide range of sucrose content a pH optimum for use in mix juice.
- Reduction in viscosity in syrup and massecuites
- Improvement in boiling rate
- Reduction in steam % of cane
- Improved purge ability at centrifugal
- Improvement in quality of sugar
- Overall increase in capacity utilization of boiling house
Amyle -NR
Amylase enzyme for sugar cane Industry
Introduction
Amyle-NR is a starch hydrolysing enzyme specially designed for its use in sugar industry. The Amylase enzyme is produced from a specially selected strain of Bacillus licheniformis. Eliminates starch in a most effective method in sugar juice processing. Which can be increases the factory capacity, the product yield and product quality. α-amylase enzyme used to break down the polymer to smaller sugar units, which is eventually converted to the individual basic glucose units.
Benefits of Amyle-NR
- Amyle-NR act at high temperature and at low ph thus offering flexibility in process control
- Amyle-NR is eco-friendly and biodegradable and its application reduces chemical consumption
- Amyle-NR has high specificity for inner bond of starch polymer as compared to end sugar unit there by making it more effective in hydrolysing starch
- Improves quality
- Lowers viscosity
- Improves process efficiencies
