Distillery Enzymes

1. Nboost- FE™

(100% Urea DAP and other Nutrients Replacement Blend of Bio-Nutrients)

Typically, distilleries use Urea, DAP or Liquor ammonia as cheap source of nitrogen for Yeast growth in Pre-fermenter and Fermenters. Nutritional package needed to maintain healthy and viable yeast. NRBPL, offer a Bio-Nutrients blend to replace all nutrients and Nitrogen sources like Urea, DAP, Liquor ammonia etc. in the rapid and complete fermentation which will lead to increased fermentation rate, higher yield and profitability.

On a dry weight basis, about 10% of yeast weight consists of nitrogen. All the nitrogen used in building cellular material during fermentation is taken up from the mash. The growing yeasts produce ethanol 33 times faster than stationary phase yeasts. Nutrition is important during growth for maintaining a good start during the log phase and later, in the final stages. Yeast also needs micronutrients, vitamins, co-enzymes and minerals.
Nitrogenous compounds are the most important nutrient substances required by Yeast. Ammonia, which exists as ammonium (NH4+) ions in various salts, Urea, and amino acids are the predominant nitrogen containing compounds that are utilized by yeast. Yeast must multiply many times over to reach critical mass.

Additional nutrients like phosphorous, potassium zinc. Manganese, Sulphur, is also an important for optimal micro-organisms growth.

Benefit of Nboost-FE™:-

✓ Boosts in yeast cell growth and multiplication.
✓ Provides all vital nutrients – no need to add any nitrogen source.
✓ Hydrolyses protein and peptides into precious assailable nitrogen.
✓ Higher productivity and low by-product formation.
✓ 100% Organic & water-soluble base.

2. CWR-Sol

(Condensate Water Recycle and High Sugar & High VA Molasses based Alcohol Fermentation)

CWR Sol is specially formulated Enzymes & Bio-Chemicals for application of Condensate Water Recycling and high VA & high sugar molasses-based alcohol fermentation.

The main Challenges Associated with evaporator condensate & spent lees water are.

  • High levels of Volatile Acids and Dissolved Gases.
  • Presence of Organic matter and nutrients for faster contaminant bacterial growth.
Tackling above challenges and providing sufficient nutrients for yeast growth will provide opportunity to recycle condensate water in fermentation process. There are complex systems in market to treat condensate water Like ZLD but they come with very high operational cost. With experience in tackling complex problems in industrial water treatment we have come up with CWR Sol Product to reduce condensate water problems for using in fermentation process.

Advantages of CWR Sol:

  • Controls volatile acid and bacterial contamination in fermentation.
  • Brakes and Reduces Volatile acid formation in fermentation process.
  • Provides essential nutrients for yeast growth.

3. Alco Gain BH

(High Sugar Fermentation/B-Heavy Molasses Fermentation Enzyme)

Alco Gain-BH is specially formulated for application of High Sugar fermentation / B-Heavy Molasses based alcohol fermentation. It is the blend of special enzyme and micro-nutrients.

The main Challenges Associated with high Sugar fermentation are: –

  • High sugar concentration level starts to have an inhibiting effect on the yeast ability to produce alcohol.
  • High levels of Volatile Acids and Dissolved Gases.
  • Presence of organic matter and high bio mass contaminant bacterial growth.

Technology:

  • Alco Gain-BH is multicomponent blend of proprietary enzymes formulated to take care problem of Volatile Acids, Bacterial Contamination & yeast dead cells (proteins) to amino acids.
  • Enzymes reacts with organic acids present in fermented wash and forms intermediate which ultimately breaks down them into organic carbon resulting in less volatile acids formation, protease enzyme present in formulation breaks the cell wall of contaminant microorganisms and increases the FAAN Content in fermentation system which is essential for yeast growth.
  • By application of this enzyme, it hydrolysed polysaccharides like starch, dextrin, cellulose etc. Into present in B-heavy molasses and convert them into reducing sugar which is father converted into alcohol by the yeast.

Advantages of Alco Gain-BH

  • Controls bacterial contamination in fermentation.
  • Brakes and Reduces Volatile acid formation in fermentation process.
  • Provides essential nutrients for yeast growth.
  • Reduces interference of undesirable by-products in fermentation and distillation process.
  • Increase the alcohol concentration as per existing in fermented wash as well as recovery.

4. Alco Gain

Molasses Fermentation Booster & Enzymes (C-Heavy)

Technical Details:

  • Alco Gain enzyme-based formulation which is improves overall fermentation efficiencies and bring best alcohol yield from molasses-based fermentation process.
  • Alco Gain is a proprietary blend of enzymes and bio-nutrients which boost ethanol yield by the degradation of complex carbohydrates into fermentable sugars, essential to the efficient production of ethanol in molasses fermentation plants.
  • Alco Gain is for alcohol help to produce ethanol through fermentation of molasses cost-effectively and with minimum efforts. We believe in eco-friendly practices and stand against hazardous chemicals, hence the concept of Enzymes to cater much better and efficient results.
  • Polysaccharides are long chain high molecular weight polymers formed from simple sugar monomer units. Molasses is a source of several polysaccharides like starch, dextran, pectin, xylem etc. which cannot be directly fermented to ethanol. Starch, a polysaccharide of glucose with mainly α (1,4) linkages and α (1,6) linkages leading to branching, is a natural constituent of sugarcane.

Advantage of Alco Gain

Alco Gain, the alcohol booster product, is a blend of enzymes which enhance alcohol yield by a minimum of 0.3-0.5%. Alco Gain are also used to boost yeast growth and control contamination.

  • Improve yeast growth
  • Improves plant efficiency by reducing fouling
  • Improves alcohol recoveries
